Pham Van Thang

I am Bro. Pham Van Thang, SCJ. My birthday: June 25, 1985. I belong to the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, (SCJ).

I am a 3rd Year- STB student in LST. One of my qualifications is being a patient person. For I experience that Patience comes from wisdom, and Patience is a fruit of the Spirit. My motto: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

Just call me “AL”, 2nd Year STB-MA student from the Loyola House of Studies.

Mark Laurence Cagasan

My name is Mark Laurence Cagasan from the Diocese of Talibon. I am currently affiliated with San Jose Seminary.

I am simple and approachable. I love to read science fiction because it inspires me to speculate and use my imagination but within the ambit of science. I also love to watch movies because it helps me disconnect and relax if I need to. I enjoy art because it is fascinating, and appreciating it is recognizing the truth behind the expression. People describe me as somebody who values other people’s freedom and community.

Audre T. Pamada

Mabuhay! I am Audre T. Pamada, a native of San Jose, Camarines Sur Philippines. I am a temporary professed brother of the Institute of the Holy Family.  I am currently taking Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology(S.T.B) and Master in Family  and Counseling (M-FMC).  “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” (James 4:10)

Franz Kenosis H. Eusuya

Hello! I am Franz Kenosis H. Eusuya, a student friar from the Order of Discalced Carmelites.

When they say prayer makes a big difference, it really does- so if we mean serious business then we must be serious about our prayer life as well. As a student friar I was involved with the youth apostolate and currently, I am a member of the Carmelite Spirituality apostolate in our community. I believe that more than just being intellectual, we must also have a deep spirituality that would define our mission in the Church and society.

Septian Marhenanto

I am Septian Marhenanto, from Jakarta, Indonesia.

I like to cook, eat, travel, and meet new people. During my regency years, I gave Ignatian retreats to the youth in the Panti Semedi Jesuit Retreat House in Central Java & work as a province communicator in the provincial office. Besides studying theology at LST, I am still continuing my apostolate work as a communicator, accompanying & giving training to local religious congregations in Indonesia to make a communication program.

My Name is Mwangi Micheal, Missionary Community of St. Paul The Apostle (MCSPA), from Kenya, in my first year of Theology.

Adan Louie G. Flores

Hi everyone. I am Brother Adan Louie G. Flores, AA I came from Naguilian La Union. Currently residing at Adveniat Community in Varsity Hills, Loyola Heights.

I belong to the Congregation of the Augustinians of the Assumption (AA) and am involved in different commissions and apostolates of the Congregation such as Vocation, Kaloob Foundation, communication and etc. I had work experience in the Parish as BEC Coordinator, a Catechist, a Parish Youth Ministry (PYM) member, a Lector ministry, and in other religious organizations before I entered the Religious Life. One of my passions is to expose and immerse myself in other people, especially in apostolate areas. I am an artistic person who expresses my feelings in art forms such as decorating, drawing, painting and etc. Now, I am currently studying Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology (STB) and a Master in Family Ministry and Counselling.

Licianne Go

Hi everyone! I am Lish, a lay student from Quezon City. I spent 3 years teaching basic Accounting in the Ateneo School of Management before I decided to take an MA in Theology in the hopes of teaching Theology someday. At present, I work as the Operations Manager for the Ateneo Bulatao Center for Psychological Services. My interests include exploring the intersections of business and theology, finding the place of women in our faith and mission, and in psychology. When I find myself with free time, I enjoy organizing events, optimizing and systematizing process, making soaps, playing video games, or simply spending time with friends and family.

Sujin Theresa Park

I am Sujin Theresa Park, Congregation of Jesus, currently studying for the Certificate of Theological Studies in LST and in the process of shifting to the MA program.

As an apostolic religious woman, I strive to integrate my study with life to live out our Mary Ward and Ignatian spirituality. Apart from study, I support our mission in Caloocan as an apostolate. I am enthusiastic about exploring and bringing different cultures together to learn more deeply about people and life in God.

Eduardo Lupercio Preciado

I belong to The Congregation of the Missionaries of Saint Charles Borromeo-Scalabrinians- since 2013.

I studied philosophy in Mexico at the intercontinental university of the Missionaries of Guadalupe. Postulancy and novitiate in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and after my first profession I was assigned to Asia province in the Philippines in 2019. I started my studies of Theology in LST in 2020 and after the second year of theology, I was assigned in Ruteng, Indonesia for my pastoral year. Now this year, I will continue with my third year of Theology in LST. He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah, 6, 8)

Ren John Puertos

I am Ren John Puertos, from Maragusan Davao de Oro Philippines. I am a professed member of the Society of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC). I am currently residing in New Manila, Quezon City. I entered the seminary in 2012 at the same congregation as Cebu City College Seminary. I finished my secondary education degree program, majoring in Religious and Values Education at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City. In 2020, I made my first religious profession to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.

I am an incoming second-year STB student at the Loyola School of Theology. As an incoming second-year STB student, my community chooses me as a representative of our community. Given the vow of obedience, I accepted the community’s decision because I believe that “In serving, it will make me simpler.”

LST Student Committees

Communications and Social Media

The committee’s duties include: (a) managing the Student Council social media accounts: creating content, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments or messages; (b) creating and distributing content such as press releases, blog posts, videos, and other forms of media that promote LST’s mission, events, or initiatives; (c) collaborating with other committees: ensures that messaging is consistent and aligned with LST’s overall goals and objectives.

Social Involvement, Advocacy, and Outreach Committee

The committee helps the Student Council decide and make a stand on various issues; establishes communications and relations with other seminaries and religious houses, parishes, theological schools and different units and departments of the Ateneo de Manila University for mobilization and advocacy work. It takes charge of Ecumenical affairs and Blood Letting activity and of the Social Advocacy board.

The committee also takes charge of planning, implementing, and evaluating outreach projects such as seminars and workshops, resource-sharing with different parishes and communities in need.

Development and Fund Raising Committee

The committee’s duties include assisting LST’s Development Officer in his work of developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes identifying potential donors, developing donor cultivation and stewardship plans, and overseeing fundraising events and campaigns. The committee may be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to encourage their continued support of the organization.

Commission on Elections

The Commission manages the election of the new officers of the LST Student Council from the period of nominations, campaign, and election itself. The Chairman is to present the results of the elections to the LST President for confirmation.

LST Choir

The LST Choir’s primary duty is to enhance the worship experience of the community through music and by singing in LST events. This involves rehearsing regularly to learn and perform a variety of songs. It can also help support and build community by organizing shared music, concerts, etc.

Community Engagement and Socials Committee

The committee takes charge of special social gatherings such as the Acquaintance and Christmas Parties (programs, foods, logistics, transportation). It manages the ushering of guests and visitors to venues of all LST activities.

Tinig Loyola Magazine and Graduation Souvenir

Tinig Loyola is the official publication of the students of LST that comes out at least once a year. It also serves as the graduation souvenir of the school.

Liturgy and Spirituality Committee

The committee takes charge of planning, implementing and evaluating all community liturgical celebrations during the school year in coordination with the Student Council. They should see to it that all the liturgical and para-liturgical celebrations and related activities are carefully planned and executed according to the Catholic Church’s norms on Liturgy. The Chairman should be well-versed, or at least knowledgeable, in the rubrics and arts of liturgy. He or she is to devise plans that tend to broaden active participation of the whole LST community in liturgical celebrations and in activities that seek to uplift their spiritual lives.r

Sports Committee

The Committee’s primary concern is geared towards the yearly celebration of the Sportsfest and the President’s Day. The Chairman on Sports must be an athletically inclined person, knowledgeable on various games and physical activities related to sports. The Sports Chair is obliged to brief the Council regarding sports activities before any planned activities are announced to the LST community. The Sports Chair is to organize friendship games with the different communities or congregations that make up the LST community to foster camaraderie and friendship. Inter-seminary games are highly encouraged.

Theological Hour Committee

The committee plans, organizes, implements, and evaluate Theological Hour Sessions. The committee may also recommend speakers for the said activity.
