About the Conference

The International Conference on Ignatian Spirituality, Pedagogy, and Leadership brings together a diverse group of participants to explore and appreciate the rich heritage of Ignatian spirituality. This conference aims to guide attendees through the foundational aspects of Ignatian Spirituality and then explore aspects of 21st-century Ignatian Pedagogy and Ignatian Leadership. Through engaging sessions on topics such as prayer, vocation, youth, and ecology, participants will gain insights into the profound experience of God that St. Ignatius of Loyola himself encountered. The conference seeks to foster a deeper understanding and practice of Ignatian spirituality by delving into these themes, encouraging individuals to integrate these principles into their personal and professional lives.

The conference structure underscores the interconnected nature of Ignatian Spirituality, Pedagogy, and Leadership. Ignatian spirituality serves as the bedrock, nurturing a personal relationship with God and informing the Ignatian pedagogical approach, which emphasizes reflection and action in the learning process. This, in turn, lays the groundwork for Ignatian leadership, where spiritual values are applied to guide and inspire others. By participating in this conference, attendees will be inspired to live out Ignatian spirituality in the context of their communities and organizations, promoting a spirit-inflamed approach to leadership and education.

ICIS-PL2025 is open to both lay and religious who appreciate the legacy of St. Ignatius of Loyola in both the church and society: congregations inspired by an Ignatian spirit and their lay collaborators; faculty, staff, and administrators of Jesuit schools in the Philippines and abroad; parish pastoral workers, campus ministers, retreat givers, and counselors; lay professionals seeking to live as contemplatives-in-action.

Only a limited 300 seats are available to non-LST students. Online pre-registration is required with a minimal non-refundable fee of PhP 2,500.00, which covers 3 lunches, 5 snacks and other incidentals during the conference.
